This Enteral or Peg feeding course is designed to increase awareness of enteral feeding and to provide the delegate with the practical knowledge to deal with this feeding method.In the United

Kingdom it is estimated that over 10,000 individuals will be tube fed in the community which is double the number in hospitals.

This course covers protocols and procedures for clinically qualified staff who are administering feeds and medications.

Note There is a competency framework included in this training.Competency is achieved in the workplace following the training.Each procedure needs to be signed off by a qualified member of staff

It is the attendees responsibility to ensure work places/ assignments will allow them to achieve this.
